The blue 'clear water' design draws inspiration from two iconic Seiko timepieces – the first Japanese Diver’s watch introduced in 1965 and the Seiko Marinemaster design from the 2000s.
The 1965 Diver’s watch marked the initiation of Seiko's venture into diving timepieces, symbolizing the brand's enduring dedication to crafting resilient watches. Notably reliable, the original model was presented four times to Japanese Antarctic Research Expeditions and accompanied explorations to the North and South poles, as well as Mount Everest. The Marinemaster, tailored for professional divers, featured a robust case and a sturdy strap.
This contemporary iteration incorporates elements from the 1965 original diver, such as its silhouette and distinctive hour markers. The dial, adorned with a horizontal line pattern, exudes a marine-sports aesthetic, and the sapphire exhibition case back is a novel addition to Seiko Diver watches. Mirrored-finish lugs enhance light reflection, and the thick Lumibrite-coated hour markers ensure high legibility. Despite the inclusion of box sapphire glass and the exhibition case back, this is the slimmest among Seiko mechanical divers watches at just 12.3mm.
Powering this timepiece is the slim calibre 6L37 movement, delivering robust accuracy of -10 to +15 seconds per day, coupled with a 45-hour power reserve. Importantly, the new Marinemaster adheres to Seiko's stringent Diving ISO standard specifications. Limited to a global production of only 1,000 pieces, this model signifies a rare collector's item.
The Prospex name, derived from 'Professional' and 'Specifications,' embodies Seiko's commitment to creating timepieces that are practical, reliable, and durable. Warranty and returns
Prestige is a Seiko Premium Authorized Retailer, so this watch includes a 3-year international warranty. Keep the warranty card that comes in the box. The 3-year coverage follows that card.
On top of that, Prestige provides its own one-year service warranty on the movement, screws, and push buttons only. That shop warranty does not replace or shorten the 3-year international warranty. The battery (if any), case, bracelet or strap, and any damage from physical abuse are not covered by Prestige’s service warranty.

Returns and items sent in for warranty service must come back in the original box, unused, with all paperwork, parts, and accessories, packed the way they arrived.
The buyer pays the return shipping and any other charges.
