The design of this watch pays tribute to the popular Seiko 5 Sports watches from the late 1960s which were a firm fan favourite.
The overall look is a combination of newness and heritage – with the dial and the hands being new designs, common to this Retro Colour collection. The case is based on the SKX series case, whilst the bezel resembles the original 1960s models. It has ‘Special Edition’ engraved on the case back.
This particular timepiece is inspired by the 5126-8130 – the original ‘Rally Diver’ released in the late 60s. The watch has ‘Special Edition’ engraved on its case back.
The silver dial with the day and date at the 3 o'clock position is protected by a hardened Hardlex mineral crystal. The steel case of the watch is complemented by a classic link bracelet. The watch is powered by a 4R36 mechanical movement with automatic winding and a power reserve of around 41 hours. Of course, there is a function of stopping the second hand when setting the time and the possibility of winding the crown. The movement can be observed through a transparent, specially marked escapement. The advantage of the watch is definitely its unusual retro look. The water resistance of this model is 100 m, so you can swim with the watch without any problems. Thanks to the case diameter of 42.5 mm, it is classified as a medium-sized watch, suitable for most men's wrists.
